About Bev

Bev has been a licensed Alberta REALTOR® for 45+ years, primarily in the Edmonton market. She specializes in seniors and relocation clients, where the SRES® designation, the long-context market memory, and the patience for transitions matter more than transaction volume.

After retiring from full-time front-line practice, Bev reactivated her licence in 2026 to work alongside Rory O’Shea, her son and a newly licensed REALTOR® at Homes & Gardens Real Estate Ltd. The arrangement plays to both sides: Rory runs the client-facing side of the practice (showings, listings, write-ups, negotiations), and Bev provides the advisory layer: pricing read, builder history, neighbourhood evolution, and transaction review.

Bev’s career covers the full evolution of the Edmonton market: pre-1980s inner-city resale, the suburban build-out of the 1980s and 1990s, the master-planned communities of the 2000s, and the modern infill wave reshaping mature neighbourhoods through the 2010s and 2020s. That length of context shows up most clearly in pricing conversations, where the question is rarely just “what is this house worth today” but “how does this neighbourhood read against where it was, where it’s going, and what the equivalent product in the adjacent neighbourhood costs.”
